The Scott Campbell Dodge Race for Kids – With a Twist is a two-part event that spans the month of August! This year, because of the lifted COVID-19 restrictions, we are offering a month-long, family-oriented event (like 2020) AND a one day, in-person event (like a “normal” year). The month-long event will start on August 3rd, 2021 and run until 12:00pm (noon) on August 31st, 2021. The one day event will take place on August 19th, 2021 from 6:00m-9:00pm hosted at Blend Restaurant & Bar.

August 3rd, 2021 - 12:00pm (noon) August 31st, 2021

A family friendly event that runs from August 3rd – August 31st, 2021. Participants are encouraged to sign up as a family or as a group of friends to explore The Battlefords. Participants will be given an information card with visual clues to 10 different locations. You must use the clues to determine each location and then travel to that location to take a photo! Pictures must then be posted to social media or sent to BGC Battlefords. For each accurate location picture we receive, you will be entered into that location’s draw. For accurately completing all 10 locations, you will be entered into the top prizes! There are 10 location draws as well as 3 top prizes available! You will have the entire month of August to complete this event. All entries must be submitted by 12:00pm (noon) on August 31st, 2021! Draws will be made at 2:00pm on September 1st, 2021. 

*Clue cards will be available for pick up on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021.*

August 19th, 2021 from 6:00pm-9:00pm

An adults-only race! This event will take place from 6:00pm-9:00pm on August 19th, 2021. Teams of 4 will compete to see who can finish five different challenges the quickest! Participants may travel between the different locations by vehicle, bike, roller blade, etc. (event is not designed to be completed on foot). Whichever team completes all five challenges with the lowest combined time (travel time between locations does not count against the teams times), will be declared the WINNER! Pledge forms will be available for this event and the individual who raises the most money will receive the Top Fundraiser prize! Winner announcements and wind-up for the event will be held at Blend Restaurant & Bar upon the conclusion of the event.

Month-Long Event

MASKS – Masks are not mandatory, however, should you feel more comfortable wearing one, please feel free to do so.

HYGEINE – Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer as often as possible while participating in our event.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING – Physical distancing is encouraged between all participants. 

FEELING ILL – We kindly ask that you stay home if you are not feeling well.

One-Day Event

CLEANING – Each Location will be cleaned/sanitized in between each Team use.

FEELING ILL – We kindly ask that if you are not feeling well, you make arrangements with our office staff to have a substitute take your place in the Race.
