STAFF:

VISITORS:

All visitors will be asked a series of health screening questions before entering the building.

All visitors will be asked to use hand sanitizer before proceeding into the building.

MEMBERS:

All members will follow these “Entering The Building” steps. Procedures will be different for children ages 5-9 and youth ages 10-14.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING:

Outside you will find jacks on the sidewalk that are spaced 6ft apart. Signs, thanks to Ultra Print for laminating our posters, are displayed to encourage physical distancing when children & youth are waiting to enter the building.

Children & youth groups eat at different times and are seated by staff to ensure appropriate distance is kept.

Physical Distancing posters are displayed throughout the building and pose as a reminder for staff, visitors and members to practice physical distancing.

MASKS:

A huge thank you to Canadian Red Cross for donating gloves, masks, and online training to our organization. Thanks to this donation, our staff will be wearing a mask when around the children & youth and are fully educated on the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.

HAND WASHING:

Thanks to Bee-J’s Office Plus, our washrooms are all equipped with semi-automatic paper towel dispensers and no touch garbage cans.

CLEANING:

We have invested in hospital-grade chemicals to ensure we are doing our very best to minimize the spread. Thanks to Modern Janitorial Sales & Services, our chemicals are dispensed at perfect dilutions to ensure we’re cleaning/sanitizing to the best of our abilities.

Staff remain diligent at cleaning/sanitizing all high-touch surfaces (door handles, sink faucets, toys, countertops, phones, etc.) on a regular basis.

CAPACITY:

Currently our capacity is at 15 children (ages 5-9) on our main floor and 15 youth (ages 10-14) in our newly finished basement. Due to capacity restrictions

BARRIERS:

Where physical distancing is not possible, we have installed plexiglass barriers. Thank you Silvester Glass & Aluminum Products Ltd.  for setting our office up for success!

SHOWING SYMPTOMS:

Members will be isolated should they begin to display symptoms of COVID-19 while attending our programs. Parents/Guardians will be called and are expected to pick the ill member up as soon as possible. Our main floor and basement each have their own isolation teepee along with age appropriate activities for the member to do while waiting to be picked up. Once the member has been picked up, a complete sanitization will be done of the teepee using Microban and all surfaces will be sanitized using our cleaning products.

OTHER PRECUATIONS:

Our water fountains are currently out of order but thanks to Culligan Water- North Battleford, our water supply is never dry. Our staff will gladly refill member’s water bottles or cups from our kitchen that are sanitized in our dishwasher every night.

Indoor shoes are strongly recommended but when they are not available, please ensure your child(ren) come prepared with a pair of socks.

THANK YOU TO THESE LOCAL BUSINESSES THAT HELPED US SAFELY REOPEN OUR DOORS... WE CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH!
