#BGCClubDay is a national awareness initiative that celebrates the positive impact of BGC Clubs in communities across Canada and the important work BGC Battlefords does for young people in The Battlefords.
This year, on Friday, June 5th, Clubs across the country joined to celebrate BGC Club Day
Here’s a bit about what happened on this special day:
10:00 AM | City Hall (1291-101st Street)
We kicked off the day with a Flag Raising & Proclamation Reading alongside local schools and members of the public
4:30–6:00 PM | BGC Battlefords Main Site (1301-104th Street)
We celebrated with a BBQ sponsored by Bridges Chevrolet Buick GMC! This celebration featured a delicious BBQ, bouncy castles, face painting, outdoor games, and more!
We were thrilled to have the water tower lit up in BGC green to mark the ocasion!
For 125+ years, BGC Clubs have been creating opportunities for millions of Canadian kids and teens. Our trained staff and volunteers provide programs and services that help young people realize positive outcomes.
