#BGCClubDay is a national awareness initiative that celebrates the positive impact of BGC Clubs in communities across Canada and the important work BGC Battlefords does for young people in The Battlefords.
This year, on Friday, June 6th, Clubs across the country will join to celebrate BGC Club Day — and you’re invited! We’re also celebrating the 125th anniversary of the first BGC Club in Canada! Here’s a bit about what you can expect on this special day:
10:00 AM | City Hall (1291-101st Street)
We’re kicking off the day with a Flag Raising & Proclamation Reading alongside local officials. This event is open to the public; we hope to see you there!
4:30–6:30 PM | BGC Battlefords Main Site (1301-104th Street)
Join us for a celebration BBQ sponsored by Bridges Chevrolet Buick GMC! This celebration features a delicious BBQ, bouncy castles, face painting, outdoor games, and more! This portion is for all registered members and their families!
Don’t forget to take a look at the water tower that will be lit up in BGC green to mark the occasion!
For 120+ years, BGC Clubs have been creating opportunities for millions of Canadian kids and teens. Our trained staff and volunteers provide programs and services that help young people realize positive outcomes.
